Happy Holidays Babes! How insane is it that the holidays are already upon us and we are gearing up for a new year? I am clearly overly enthused for the holidays (I say this as I look over at my Christmas tree that is up and decorated prior to Thanksgiving with pride in my heart) and am ready to cue up Pentatonix and fully embody the holiday spirit. One of the most valued parts of the holidays for me is the connection to loved ones and parties to celebrate the season with a hefty dose of merriment and joy.
Since there is a vast variety of holiday actives to enjoy I partnered with my friends at Lane Bryant to show three holiday looks that are perfect for everything on your social butterfly calendar. My first look is a staple in my wardrobe, the wrap dress.
I love how a classic wrap dress looks on curves. I was particularly drawn to the chiffon overlay and beautiful floral appliqué on this show stopping dress. It is a fun twist on the classic silhouette and can totally be worn to a holiday dinner party or time with the family. This versatile classic would look fabulous with tights and I paired it with adorable ankle boots with a pop of sparkle. I love wearing a cute bootie with dresses, plus it keeps your toes extra warm while still giving a little heel.
You know I had to get a moment of plaid in here. and I am in love with this plaid car coat. I wanted to style a more casual chic look that would be perfect for jaunting out to a Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinner (stretchy pants mandatory) or going to a holiday kick back.
This is totally a great look to also wear to work during the season when you want to feel festive but you are not fully feeling like busting out a tinsel covered Rudolf sweater. All of these pieces can also be seamlessly translated to your colder weather wardrobe and I know I will get a ton of use out of all these pieces in the new few months.
We all deserve a poised and polished moment during this time of year. I finished off the look with a structured black purse with metal detail hardware and a pair of sexy ankle boots to convey that extra boss babe attitude.
I had to save the best for last right? This is that holiday look when you want to enter a room and turn some heads. Cover me in faux suede and call it done! I wanted a power outfit that would be sexy and playful for a night out on the town. I could even see this being a fabulous New Years moment.
The polka dot top can totally be a moment on its own or worn in a wider array of options with a tank top underneath. I wanted to play with textures and patterns and ultimately created one of my favorite looks I have put together this year.
This outfit puts me in a mood for a bougie night out. It’s one of those outfits you definitely wear to be seen and I’m not mad at that. I especially love the knee high boots that I highlighted a couple weeks ago in my Style Staple Sunday video. I know I’m going to be circulating these pieces in heavy rotation in my wardrobe this winter.
I hope you loves are gearing up for a fabulous holiday season. Let me know which one of these looks was your favorite in the comments below. I have some really exciting things coming up including a fabulous gift guide/giveaway that I can’t wait to share with you!
