Keeping it Classic

Hey Babes!

I hope your week is off to a great start. If you have been following me on Instagram (You totally should it is a party over there) I recently talked about making the transition from a more traditional 9-5 job to full time freelance. The adjustment has been really wonderful and also comes with a lot more personal accountability on many different levels.

Aside from scheduling and keeping myself accountable, it can definitely be tempting to stay in workout clothes all day, and some days I am totally living my best life for that. Whenever I have been going out for meetings or work out of the home I have been reaching for more classic pieces in neutral colors and details.

Shop My Look: Black Jeggings

There is something so fresh and classic about a black and white outfit. I especially love pairing a black pant and white top for a fresh chic look. I chose to make this classic choice my own by cuffing the jeans so my shoes could have their moment, tucking in the tank, and finishing the look off with some fun pattern play in the jacket to give a little more visual interest. I find that is the really fun thing with having a solid classic outfit, it totally gives the details their moment to shine and elevate the look.

Shop My Look: Timeless Tank

I would totally wear this look to a daytime meeting or to meet up for a working lunch. I love putting together outfits that you can mix and match with other pieces in your wardrobe. You know you can’t go wrong with a classic look and this is something I could have still worn to my more traditional workplace. We love versatility here!

XO,

JB

Absolutely stunning, as always! The added benefit of the neutral tones is that your features really pop! Look at those eyes, those cheeks, that hair! I love every choice you made with this outfit. You’ve completely inspired me to check out Catherine’s for the very first time!!! Love, KC
